Design Value uses cookies and similar tools on Mapster for basic Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. This notice is part of our Indian privacy practice.
Section 01
What we use
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Mapster itself does not need a login cookie. The analytics tools below may set first- or third-party cookies, local storage or similar identifiers.
- Strictly useful. The studio can run without an account. We do not set a session cookie for a login we do not have.
- Analytics. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, described next.
- Not used. We do not sell cookie data. We do not run ad retargeting pixels.
Section 02
Google Analytics
Google Analytics measures visits, pages, approximate geography and device type. Google may set cookies such as _ga and related identifiers, and may process your IP address. Google’s role and retention are governed by Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics terms.
We use this to understand whether Mapster is used, which cities people open, and whether the studio loads. We do not use Google Analytics to build an advertising profile.
Section 03
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity records how people move through the page - clicks, scrolls and sampled session replays - so we can see where the studio is confusing. Clarity may set cookies and collect device and interaction data under Clarity’s terms and Microsoft’s privacy statement.
We use Clarity to fix the Product, not to advertise to you on other sites.
Section 04
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s ads and analytics opt-outs where available. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop you designing a poster. If we later add an on-site preference control, it will be described here.
Section 05
Indian law
Cookie use is part of Design Value’s processing as Data Fiduciary under the DPDPA, 2023. Consent for analytics may be withdrawn by clearing cookies and, where we offer it, by writing to hello@designvalue.co. Governing law and courts: India; the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
