End-user licence.

This agreement is between you and Design Value. Mapster is not a separate company. Design credits on the site do not transfer the licence away from Design Value.

Design Value grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Mapster in a web browser and to keep posters you download, for limited personal use under the freemium tier we publish from time to time.

• You may design a place you know and download the file we allow on the free tier.
• You may print it for your own wall or as a personal gift.
• You may not sublicence the studio or treat this EULA as an open-source grant.

You shall not use Mapster, or any poster made with it, for commercial purposes without prior consent from Design Value in email or writing. Ask at hello@designvalue.co. Until we grant permission, you may not sell prints, use the work in a paid client job, or run the studio as a service for others.

Design Value owns the Product: name, logo, themes, layout and software we wrote. You own your personal composition, subject to OpenStreetMap and other data licences. You do not own MapLibre, Next.js or any other third-party component. See the licence for the stack.

Mapster includes and depends on third-party open-source libraries and open map data. Those components keep their own licences (MIT, BSD, ISC, ODbL, GPL for Nominatim software, and vendor terms for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). This EULA does not take away rights those licences give you in the components themselves. It also does not make Mapster open source.

The licence lasts while you use the Service and we offer it. We may suspend or end access for breach, including commercial use without consent. Files you already downloaded for personal use may be kept; further commercial use still needs permission.

The Product is provided as is, without warranty, to the extent permitted by Indian law. Map completeness is not guaranteed.

This EULA is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, without prejudice to non-derogable rights under Indian consumer law.
